SEASON 1, MISSION 1: PORTAL JUMPER

The U.S.S. Invincible, having been recently deployed to the Delta Quadrant, is ordered to a nearby sector where Borg cube sitings have aroused suspicion among Starfleet command. The crew of the Invincible warp into the sector weapons fully charged and ready for the impending doom when upon entry into the sector they quickly discover that the ship’s weapons and defensive systems have been disabled. The cube itself is burning in places and there are multiple hull breaches. However, there are life signs aboard the ship, and the crew beams a small search party aboard to find out what the life signs are of. Upon beaming aboard they discover more damage and all the Borg lay dead. Nearby there is a small portal where a member of Species 8752 appear, and begin firing upon the search party. They are able to get off the Borg Cube just in time. However, upon getting on board the Invincible they find that their own engines are now offline and a portal has appeared in multiple places throughout the ship. The crew now must fight this mysterious species and figure out a way to close the portals before it’s too late…
