It might just be my inexperience with Forum based RP but I was starting to get a bit confused regarding the time line and where people were at any given point (I have the kind of mind that like to keep things neat!), Thusly (which I declare to be a word!) I've stuck and time and date IC at the head of my latest post after I noticed Ms Somers doing so in her intro one, is this the "done thing"?

There isn't anything in place for that really there isn't a set time for posts though most people do tend to place their location throughout their posts. I will speak with Matt tonight and see if there is anything that we could do to reduce the amount of confusion in the meantime if you get lost on a post simply PM the person they should be able to answer any questions.

Time stamps are pretty standard for forum based or the SIMM system based stuff as it does keep things more chronologically ordered for the players involved so they know where and when things are happening that are major plot elements, minor character interactions, or simple showering & shaving. I was actually enjoying not doing them for once

I just wanted to throw up an apology for my recent lack of activity, life hit me like an anvil and it has taken me longer than I thought to pick up the bits and put them back in the right order...

I think Darco should be on the bridge but not sure if I should post like he has always been there or have him arrive.

BTW, is the bridge able to hear the talking on the cube by the marines over the com?

I don't mean to whine but... I am not checking the boards all day and this morning there were two posts that went on without me even able to respond, those weren't that bad but then, when I was posting my reply another post gets thrown up the places things further on before I even have the chance to reply.

How often do I have to check the board? I know fast paced posting is great, but perhaps I could get a day to reply? Or even half a day?

I have a family and two jobs to look after.

Sorry Titan, I figured since I wasn't up on the bridge with you and Josh I could post my own arrival in the hanger in response to Seeter's tag and still leave you room to fit in your responses to him and then pick up with me, I tried to leave it open as to when/if we met so that you weren't given a fixed end point to meet - you could have just left John searching for you in the hanger!

As to posting speed - I really love the pace this simm is developing - but I do have the advantage that I'm generally picking up messages now (as I get up) and later (before I go to bed) meaning I'm probably checking the board twice a day (sad huh?) and I work in a job that's generally hurry up and wait so I get random short chunks of spare time in the day to munch a sandwich and post something in response, sorry if you felt I over posted you,
