I am pleased to announce that the BFA has confirmed my nomination of Commodore Edward Mercer, otherwise known as Kitahashi, up until now the Task Force Executive Officer of Task Force 38, as the new Task Force 58 Commanding Officer.

With this appointment comes a promotion to the rank of Rear Admiral. Congratulations. He has a fairly large task ahead of him with revitalizing TF58 after their recent losses, so let's all give him our full support.
